Handwara: Continuing its efforts to reach out the needy and destitute people, Handwara police on the directions of SP Handwara Sandeep Gupta-IPS today distributed ration kits and other essential commodities among the poor and needy families in the jurisdiction of Police Station Handwara.
The distribution function was held by SHO PS Handwara Shri Parvaiz Ahmad.
Handwara Police reiterated that J&K Police is always ready to render helping hand to the people and assured that reach out programmes shall continue in the district. Earlier the same kits were distributed among poor people falling in the jurisdiction of Police Station Qalamabad, Police Posts Langate,Magam and Chogal.
The people are once again appealed to follow the SOPs of COVID -19 to restrain the virus amd contact police for any kind of assiatence.
