A major fire broke out in Ijazat Shah Colony in the Tarzoo area of north Kashmir’s Sopore, prompting an immediate response from emergency services and security personnel.
Soon after the blaze was reported, teams from the Fire and Emergency Services, Sopore Police, local residents, and personnel of the 52 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) rushed to the spot and launched a coordinated operation to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby houses.
Officials and eyewitnesses said the responders worked tirelessly to bring the situation under control while assisting affected residents. Their swift and coordinated efforts helped avert a larger disaster.
Local residents appreciated the prompt response of the Fire and Emergency Services, Sopore Police, and Army personnel, stating that their timely intervention played a crucial role in preventing further damage.
