Training camp for security forces aspirants organised at Magam, Handwara

Special training camps are being organised with the joint efforts of the civilian administration, Education Department and Army camp. The aim of these training camps is to guide, motivate and inspire the young Kashmiri generation to take up a career in security forces to include police services. The training camps are being organised by Army Camp Magam and Magam High school for the young aspirants of Kupwara district.

The training camp conducted at Boys Higher secondary school, Magam was inaugurated on Tuesday by DC Kupwara and Commanding Officer 15 Rashtriya Rifles (15 RR), CEO Kupwara, ADC Handwara, Tehsildar Handwara & other dignitaries were also present on this occasion.

The training camp provides free training, including practice on physical tests and entrance test preparation by the experienced and volunteer teachers of local school, medical screening by medical officers of Vilgam Battalion. All trainees are provided with food and lodging at Magam, wherein hundreds of aspirants have joined the training camps from across the district Kupwara.

DC Kupwara also felicitated Master Owasis Rahman on this occasion for clearing entrance exams for the prestigious National Defence Academy (NDA).
