Handwara: Continuing the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, the Civil Administration, in collaboration with Police Handwara, organised mega Tiranga rallies and various programmes across Police District Handwara. Students, youth and members of the general public participated in large numbers, displaying immense patriotic spirit and enthusiasm.
The initiative aimed to encourage people to bring the Tricolour home and hoist it with pride to commemorate the 80th Independence Day of India, while fostering a sense of patriotism and awareness about the national flag.
During the rallies, participants sang the National Anthem and patriotic songs and proudly waved the Tricolour. Officers also highlighted the significance of Independence and paid tribute to the freedom fighters who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation’s freedom.
At the conclusion of the rallies, participants took a pledge to contribute towards building a developed India, uphold the unity and integrity of the nation, fulfil their duties and responsibilities, shed any remnants of a colonial mindset, and honour the sacrifices of the country’s brave hearts while dedicating themselves to the progress and prosperity of the nation.
