Srinagar: The District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) continued its initiative to promote sports activities for children in child care institutions across district Kupwara, holding events on the second consecutive day at PALAASH Kupwara. The event featured a diverse range of sports, including volleyball, tug of war, badminton, shot put, discus throw, carom, and more, providing an opportunity for children to engage in physical fitness and teamwork.

This initiative, organized by DCPU Kupwara in collaboration with the National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development (NIPCCD), aimed to foster community spirit and promote healthy lifestyles among the young participants. The children displayed great enthusiasm, showcasing their skills and enjoying the friendly competition.

Hidaitullah Mir, District Child Protection Officer (DCPO) of Kupwara, attended the event and expressed his appreciation for the children’s efforts. “I commend all the participants for their enthusiasm and performance,” he said. He further emphasized the valuable life lessons that sports provide, including resilience and commitment. “Sports teach children to overcome challenges, injuries, and even failure. These lessons in resilience often extend beyond the playing field, helping them grow into more determined and focused individuals.”

As the event concluded, the children left with smiles and cherished memories, eagerly anticipating more opportunities for active participation and personal growth in the future.

  1. I’ve been surfing online more than three hours nowadays, but I never discovered any attention-grabbing article like yours. It¦s pretty value enough for me. In my opinion, if all site owners and bloggers made good content material as you probably did, the net will probably be a lot more helpful than ever before.

  2. You really make it appear really easy with your presentation however I find this matter to be really one thing that I feel I might never understand. It sort of feels too complicated and very large for me. I’m taking a look ahead for your subsequent submit, I¦ll try to get the grasp of it!

  3. Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!
