Delhi: Comedian and actor Kapil Sharma has been in the news after his newly launched café, Kaps Cafe in Surrey, British Columbia, faced three separate gunfire incidents since its opening in July. The attacks occurred shortly after the launch and again on August 7 and October 16, raising concerns about security at the establishment.

In a significant development, Delhi Police arrested gangster Bandhu Man Singh, a key member of the notorious Goldy Dhillon Gang, for allegedly orchestrating the attacks on Kapil’s café. Authorities recovered a Chinese pistol and cartridges from Singh, who reportedly fled Canada in August before returning to India. Singh has multiple criminal cases registered against him and is considered a primary handler of the gang’s operations.

Speaking at the trailer launch of his upcoming film “Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2”, Kapil Sharma addressed the attacks, saying, “Three times firing happened there… maybe the police there don’t have enough power to control such things. But after that, the case reached the federal level and was even discussed in the Canadian Parliament.”
