Srinagar: The Inter Battalion (Sector Level) finals of the Volleyball, Basketball and Handball competition organised at headquarters of the 57 Battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF) concluded at Handwara on Friday.
The match was inaugurated by Surendra Mishra, Commandant, 57 Bn BSF from June 26. In this competition the teams of 27, 57, 97 and 140 battalions of the BSF participated.
On June 30, the final Basketball match was played between 57 Bn BSF and 140 Bn BSF, the 57 Bn BSF won the final match.
On July 1, the final matches of Handball and Volleyball were played between 27 bn BSF and 57 Bn BSF, both the games were won by the 57 Bn BSF. The first prize was given to winning team (57 Bn BSF) by Surendra Mishra Commandant 57 Bn BSF in presence of A K Mishra 2IC, P P S Negi 2IC, Rajesh Singh Yadav DC, Sher Singh DC, & SM Shailesh Pratap Singh and all SOs and Jawans.
Surendra Mishra, Commandant 57 Bn BSF congratulated the winning team and addressed the players of all the teams and motivated them for their better performance.
