Srinagar:A farewell function was organised for Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Scheme, supervisor Parveena Akthar, ICDS Project Rajwar by her colleagues and AWWs in Handwara.
The farewell was held amidst smiles and tears of a lady supervisor from ICDS Project Rajwar Handwara Kupwara in a grand get together.
Large number of participants attended the event among them were Anganwadi workers of the project and supervisors’ union representatives, CDPO and Registrar Revenue Handwara department, Arshid Khan (KAS).
Speakers narrated the dedicated services of the lady supervisor Parveena Akthar. She has rendered 41 years’ service to ICDS in her life.
Her work ethics and behaviour were appreciated at every level. ICDS staff not only work on physical and cognitive development but even at character building at large, said Abida War.
Parveena Akthar extended thanks to all for the grand event and the honour she received upon her retirement.
Abida War hosted the event along with supervisors Hajra, Shaheena, Ajaz Ahmad, Tasleema and Jamsheeda. Best wishes were extended to Parveena Akthar for the rest of her life.
