Srinagar: In a significant effort to combat the drug trade in the region, Handwara police have seized the property of notorious drug peddler Reyaz Ahmad Lone, a resident of Badrah Payeen. The attached property, valued at approximately ₹15 lakh, includes a two-story building, two shops, and one hall.
The action was carried out under section 68-F of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act of 1985. Lone has been implicated in several drug-related offenses, including Case FIR No. 84/2020, registered under Section 8/21 of the NDPS Act at Kralgund Police Station.
