Groom Flees Wedding Stage as ED Crashes Jaipur Ceremony in Rs 15,000 Crore Mahadev Betting App Scam

Jaipur: In a dramatic twist fit for a thriller, a high-profile wedding in Jaipur turned into complete chaos after Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials raided the venue to arrest the groom, who is a wanted accused in the Rs 15,000 crore Mahadev Betting App scam. The shocking incident took place at the luxurious Fairmont Hotel, where the groom Saurabh Ahuja fled from the wedding mandap moments before taking the final vows.

According to reports, Saurabh was tipped off just as the wedding rituals were about to conclude. Realising that ED officials had arrived to arrest him, he immediately abandoned the ceremony and vanished from the scene, leaving stunned guests, relatives, and even the bride in disbelief.

The ED had been tracking Saurabh Ahuja for his alleged role in facilitating crores of rupees in illegal transactions through the Mahadev Online Betting App network. A team from Raipur had been dispatched to Jaipur with plans to detain him quietly post-wedding. However, Ahuja’s timely escape left the officials scrambling.

Despite missing the groom, the ED didn’t leave empty-handed. Officials arrested Pranavendra, another major accused in the betting scam, along with two others from the wedding party. The agency also questioned the bride, her family members, and other close relatives in hopes of tracing Ahuja’s whereabouts.

The raid stunned hundreds of guests and brought the opulent wedding to an abrupt end. Videos of the lavish wedding setup being interrupted by ED officers have gone viral, sparking a storm on social media.

The ED has now launched a search operation to locate and arrest Saurabh Ahuja. Sources say more arrests are expected in the coming days as the investigation intensifies.

This isn’t the first high-profile name linked to the Mahadev betting case. Actor and influencer Sahil Khan was previously arrested after an 1,800-km, 40-hour-long chase across five states. Though he was later granted bail, the ED has made it clear that this is just the beginning of a deeper crackdown.
