District police Kupwara organises open air concert at DPL Kupwara in memory of police martyrs

Srinagar: As a part of the ‘Sports Fest 21-31 Oct’ and to commemorate the supreme sacrifices of police martyrs, district police organised an open air concert at District Police Lines Kupwara. 

During this event artists from all parts of Kupwara performed patriotic songs. The scintillating performances by various artists from Kupwara kept the audiences glued to their chairs. Every single event received an overwhelming response from the audience. The rhythm of ‘Teri Mitti Mein Mil Jawa’ song made the scene ecstatic.

ASP Kupwara during his address to the gathering paid rich tributes to the martyrs and deliberated on the importance of such events. He promised frequent staging of such delightful events. At the end of the function the participants were suitably felicitated.

Among the participants, the prominent were Pardeep Singh, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Kupwara, Sarfaraz Bashir, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy SP) DAR Kupwara, artists, public of Kupwara and other officers and officials of District Police Kupwara. ASP Kupwara graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
