BJP holds constituency working committee meeting in Handwara

Srinagar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a constituency level working committee meeting of Handwara constituency at TRC Handwara under the supervision of its senior leader and North Kashmir in-charge Mohmmad Anwar Khan, national executive member and state spokesperson Ghulam Mohammad Mir and district president Kupwara, Abdul Rehman Lone.

The working committee meeting was held as per the party protocol, “The way it is being organized at national or state level, the purpose of this meeting was to get the feedback from all constituencies so as to see where the party stand does so far as work done is concerned. The meeting discussed the ways to strengthen the booths and urged the karyakartas to work round the clock for the service of the society.

Resolution was also read and a budget 2023-24 was also discussed. 

Anwar Khan informed the party workers about the key highlights of the budget and asked them to inform the people about the benefits of the new budget besides informing them about various welfare schemes launched by the Prime Minister for the benefit of the people.

The meeting was also attended by former district president Mohammad Shafi Mir, former district general secretary Shabir Ahmad Zargar, district vice president Sartaj Majeed, district general secretary Zahoor Ahmad Lone, district president Kisan Morcha Javid Ahmad Mir, district president Minority Morcha, Showkat Ahmad, state spokesperson Kisan Morcha Javid Ahmad Sheikh, district secretary Gulzar Ahmad, constituency president Abbas Ahmad and other constituency as well as district office bearers.
