Mumbai: Veteran actor Tiku Talsania, renowned for his prolific career in Bollywood, suffered a brain stroke on Friday, January 10. The 70-year-old actor was immediately rushed to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai for medical attention. His family confirmed the news on Saturday, clarifying that it was not a heart attack, as initially reported.
In a statement issued by his wife, Deepti Talsania, she confirmed the cause of his health issue: “He suffered a brain stroke, not a heart attack. He had attended a film screening on Friday evening and began feeling unwell around 8 pm. We rushed him to the hospital right away,” she said.
Talsania’s condition remains critical as he undergoes treatment. He has been a beloved figure in the Indian film industry, having acted in over 200 films. His daughter, Shikha Talsania, is also an established actress.
