Patna: As voting for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections got underway, former Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Rabri Devi arrived at a polling booth in Patna to cast her vote. Speaking to the media, the veteran leader extended her best wishes to both her sons — Tejashwi Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav — who are contesting from different parties this time.
“My best wishes to both my sons. Tej Pratap is contesting on his own. I am their mother. Good luck to both of them,” Rabri Devi said, maintaining a composed tone as she addressed reporters.
She also urged citizens across Bihar to exercise their democratic right responsibly. “I appeal to the people of Bihar to step out and vote and not forget your right to vote,” she added.
