Jammu: Nations Development Association (NDA), a registered NGO, proudly felicitated Rajat Charak, son of Pawan Singh Charak from Chak Lala, Bishnah, district Jammu, for his outstanding achievement at the 10th Asian Wushu Championship held in Macau, China.
Rajat Charak brought laurels to Jammu and Kashmir by securing a silver medal in the below 90kg weight category. The Indian team, comprising 24 members, delivered an impressive performance, winning one gold, five silver, and three bronze medals.
Swarn Singh Charak chairman of the Nations Development Association, Sushil Singh Charak, founder, general secretary, and former chairman of NDA, Deepak Singh Charak, Ashu Kumar, Aakash Singh along with NDA members, presented Rajat Charak with a bouquet of flowers to recognize his achievement.
Rajat Charak bagged the silver medal in the below 90kg weight category. Performance of India at the championship was – one gold, five silver, and three bronze medals. The 10th Asian Wushu Championship was held in Macau, China, from September 9 to September 16. Athletes like Rajat Charak from Jammu and Kashmir shone on the global stage.
Sushil Singh Charak praised the team’s efforts, praising Rajat Charak’s exceptional performance earned him a silver medal, making Jammu and Kashmir proud.
