Members of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) staged a protest outside the Vidhan Bhavan on Monday over the alleged Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) examination scam. The opposition accused the state government of failing to prevent repeated paper leaks and demanded strict action against those responsible.
The protesting leaders alleged that recurring examination paper leaks have jeopardised the future of lakhs of students and called for greater accountability in the recruitment examination system. The demonstration took place during the ongoing Monsoon Session of the Maharashtra Legislature, with MVA leaders urging the government to take concrete measures to restore confidence in the state’s examination process.
