Munsif Tv organizes cricket match for visually impaired in collaboration with J&K Sports Council, Srinagar

Srinagar: Munsif Tv, in collaboration with the J&K Sports Council, successfully organized a cricket match for visually impaired athletes in Srinagar, showcasing incredible talent and determination. The event, aimed at promoting inclusively and empowering visually impaired individuals, was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Ahsan Pardesi, Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Lal Chowk Srinagar.

The match was held at a local venue in Srinagar, saw enthusiastic participation from visually impaired players, who demonstrated their skills in a competitive yet supportive environment. The event was an important step in creating awareness and encouraging more opportunities for disabled athletes in the region.

The closing ceremony of the match was graced by Muzaffar Ahmad Shah, SSP Traffic Srinagar, who also was the Guest of Honor. He appreciated the efforts of Munsif Tv and J&K Sports Council in organizing such an event and emphasized the need for more such initiatives to empower marginalized communities.

The winning and runner-up teams were presented with trophies and cash rewards, acknowledging their dedication and performance. Players, coaches, and organizers expressed their gratitude towards Munsif Tv and J&K Sports Council for providing a platform for visually impaired athletes to showcase their abilities.

“This opportunity means a lot to us,” said one of the visually impaired participants. “We are thankful to Munsif Tv and the J&K Sports Council for giving us the chance to compete and show that disability is not a barrier to achieving greatness.”
