Srinagar: As part of the consistent outreach program of the Indian Army in Durgmulla, a medical camp was conducted on October 1 for the local population at Durgmulla Garrison.
The Camp was conducted under the aegis of the Thunderbolt Brigade and was attended by a team of medical officers from the Army Medical Corps.
The camp was conducted with an aim to provide quality medical care to the people of the backward area of Durgmulla which lacks quality medical care facilities.
The availability of a lady doctor of the Army Medical Corps, attracted a large turnout of ladies and children from nearby villages. There was adequate availability of Paediatric, Gynaecological and other medicines were distributed to the local people during the course of the camp.
The camp will continue on October 2 so as to cater for remaining patients of local villages. Tea and refreshments were provided during the conduct of this camp.
