Srinagar: In order to educate the local population to keep their surroundings clean and green, a Swachhta Abhiyaan Campaign was organised by the Indian Army camp, Bhagatpura in collaboration with the Municipal Committee, Handwara at Handwara chowk. The campaign was attended by Municipal Committee chairman, Masroor Bandhey. Also, the campaign witnessed active participation of the Youth Civil Society, Handwara.
The main aim of the campaign was to generate awareness and bring about a behavioural change regarding hygiene and sanitation practices. The campaign witnessed a gathering of enthusiastic people, who pledged to keep the area clean and green.
