Over 126 crore 53 lakh doses of COVID vaccines have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Union Health Ministry today said, more than 73 lakh 63 thousand vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry said, eight thousand 190 COVID patients recovered during the last 24 hours and the recovery rate stands at 98.35 percent. More than three crore 40 lakh 53 thousand people have recovered from COVID-19 so far.
Union Health Ministry said, the country reported eight thousand 603 new COVID cases in the last 24 hours. Currently, India’s active caseload is 99 thousand 974. Presently the active cases constitute 0.29 percent of the country’s which is lowest since March last year. Daily positivity rate stands at 0.69 percent and weekly positivity rate is at 0.81 percent.
The Ministry said, the testing capacity across the country continues to be expanded and more than 64 crore 60 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far.
