Srinagar: Har Ghar Tiranga, a campaign under ” Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav ” encourages people to bring the Tiranga home and hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s independence.

As part of the campaign, the Indian Army along with villagers of Anderhama and Mugam Shah Wali conducted a Har Ghar Tiranga rally in both the villages.

The rallies started from Middle School, Anderhama and High School, Mugam Shan Wali, passed through both the villages and culminated at the Udaan School, Drugmulla.

School children and villagers participated in huge numbers, singing and celebrating “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. During the rally national flags were also distributed to the villagers and school children also urged them to hoist the national flag at their houses.

Participation by locals in huge numbers as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and national flag rally is an unparalleled salute to the Tricolour & is an indicator of positive change.
