Srinagar: Wisdom is simply the soul of the society as it passes from one generation to another. Therefore, to enhance the patriotic fervour, Indian Army organised an Army Awareness program in Tearch High School, Kupwara on Saturday.
The event consisted of a stimulating lecture delivered by Colonel G Suresh, ARO, Srinagar and ASI Ghulam Nabi from District Police Kupwara. The program covered the experience of undergoing recruitment rally for young minds which was highly appreciated by locals present for the event.
Around 425 youth including 35 girls were provided with the guidance to join Army/ Police under various govt schemes and upcoming recruitment rallies for Awam (public) of Jammu and Kashmir.
The event infused the environment with patriotic vibes amid cries of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ as it culminated by rousing participation in the recitation of the national anthem.
