Prabhas’ upcoming film, tentatively titled “The Raja Saab,” directed by Maruthi, has generated immense anticipation since its announcement. Recently, on the auspicious occasion of Sankranthi (January 15), the makers unveiled the first look and the official title of the film. However, a twist emerged when IMDb updated its page with intriguing loglines, leading to confusion among fans about the actual storyline.
The logline that grabbed attention on IMDb read, “It revolves around Prabhas, who tries to find a treasure in their ancestral property named Raja Deluxe theatre.” While fans were eager to unravel the narrative, another logline caught the eye of director Maruthi, which stated, “It revolves around a couple who fall in love but are set to change destiny due to a negative energy.”
Expressing his surprise, Maruthi took to social media platform X to clarify the situation. He shared a screenshot of the IMDb synopsis and wrote, “Ararare I don’t know this plot. So shooting with a different script. Ippudu IMDB Samajam accept chestada mari. (I did not know this is the plot, so I’ve been shooting with a different script. Will the world of IMDb accept me now?)”
This revelation hints at a discrepancy between the IMDb synopsis and the actual script being filmed, adding an air of mystery to the film’s narrative. “The Raja Saab” is set to be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. Prabhas, in the unveiled poster, is seen donning a lungi, adding to the intrigue surrounding his character.
While the first look has piqued interest, the rest of the cast details are yet to be officially announced. Although rumors suggest the involvement of actors like Sanjay Dutt, Malavika Mohanan, and Nidhhi Agerwal. Maruthi, known for his success with the horror comedy “Prema Katha Chitram” in 2013, continues to keep fans guessing about the unique storyline of “The Raja Saab.” The film promises to deliver a fresh and captivating experience, with fans eagerly awaiting further updates from the director and the production team.
