Srinagar: Gunfight has started between terrorists and security forces in Renji Forest area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday morning.
A top police officer while speaking to media persons said that a joint team of police and the Indian Army launched a cordon and search operation in Renji Forest of Bandipora
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
Meanwhile, top police officer also confirmed the exchange of firing between militants and security forces. More details are awaited.
