Desh Nari Ratna Awards 2025 to Honour Indian Women Icons in Jammu, J&K

JAMMU: The Nations Development Association (NDA) has announced the launch of the Desh Nari Ratna Awards 2025, a prestigious national-level initiative dedicated to recognising and honouring exceptional Indian women achievers from diverse fields across the country. The grand awards ceremony is scheduled to be held in December 2025 in Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir, with the exact date and venue to be announced soon.

Conceptualised under the visionary leadership of Sushil Singh Charak, Founder-cum-Chief Functionary of the NDA, the awards aim to celebrate the courage, intellect, compassion, and entrepreneurial spirit of women who have made remarkable contributions in Sports, Education, Social Service, and Entrepreneurship.

The Desh Nari Ratna Awards 2025 will be conferred in four distinct categories, each named after iconic Indian women who exemplify excellence and empowerment:
• Rani Lakshmibai Ratna – For Sports Bravery & Excellence
• Saraswati Shiksha Ratna – For Education & Knowledge Leadership
• Ahilyabai Holkar Seva Ratna – For Social Service & Activism
• Gargi Udyamita Ratna – For Business & Entrepreneurship

A national-level Core Committee comprising Sushil Singh Charak, Shivani Vaid Sharma, Manpreet Kour, and Karan Singh will oversee the organisation and selection process. In addition to the main awardees, volunteers contributing to the success of the programme will also be honoured with Certificates of Working in recognition of their dedicated service.

Speaking about the initiative, Sushil Singh Charak stated: “The Desh Nari Ratna Awards are not just an honour but a movement — a celebration of the strength, resilience, and leadership of Indian women. This platform will inspire future generations while recognising those achievers and contributors who have truly made a difference to the nation.”
