Mumbai: In a powerful presentation titled “Vote Chori Is Election Chori” at the Nirdhar Melava held at Worli Dome, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and Yuva Sena chief MLA Aaditya Thackeray unveiled shocking irregularities in the 2024 Assembly voter list, alleging widespread manipulation and fraudulent entries.

Presenting detailed evidence from the Worli constituency, Aaditya Thackeray exposed how duplicate names, dead voters, and fake entries were used to distort the democratic process. Calling it a “theft of people’s mandate,” he urged citizens to be vigilant and report discrepancies in their own local voter lists.

Thackeray highlighted five major categories of irregularities discovered during his team’s scrutiny: 1. Duplicate voter names, 2. Names of deceased voters, 3. Mismatched or fake voter photographs, 4. Voters without valid EPIC (Election Photo Identity Card) numbers and 5. Multiple voters registered at the same address

“These five patterns expose how democracy is being hijacked through digital manipulation and administrative negligence,” said Thackeray, adding that “Vote Chori is not just data fraud — it is democracy theft.”

He called upon every Shiv Sainik and vigilant citizen to identify such fraudulent entries in their respective areas and submit them for rectification to ensure free and fair elections.

“Bogus governments are born from bogus voters,” Thackeray declared, vowing that the Shiv Sena (UBT) would continue its campaign until every fake name is removed from Maharashtra’s electoral rolls.
