Subsequently, voters in the state will once again exercise their franchise in phases three and four on May 7th and May 13th. The electoral process will culminate with phases five, six, and seven scheduled for May 20th, May 23rd, and June 1st, respectively.
Aligarh, a key constituency in Uttar Pradesh, is set to go to polls during the second phase on April 26th, with the anticipation building towards the culmination of the electoral process on June 4th, when the counting of votes will take place.
Reflecting on past electoral outcomes, the 2019 Lok Sabha elections witnessed BJP candidate Satish Kumar Gautam emerging victorious from Aligarh, securing 656,215 votes. The BJP’s triumph superseded the challenge posed by BSP’s Dr. Ajeet Baliyan, who garnered 426,954 votes.
