Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi has addressed the speculation surrounding her marriage with rapper Badshah after a series of cryptic social media posts triggered rumours about trouble in their relationship. While she did not directly mention divorce or disclose specific details, the actress shared an emotional statement about fear, silence and finding the courage to speak.
Her post comes nearly four months after the couple publicly confirmed their marriage following reports of their private wedding earlier this year.
Emotional Note Sparks Fresh Discussion
In a heartfelt message shared on social media, Isha reflected on personal struggles and explained why she had remained silent for a long time.
“I have lived through battles that left no visible scars. For a long time, I remained silent because I was afraid. I felt overwhelmed by the influence, power, and resources I believed my husband had, and I convinced myself that staying quiet was the safest thing to do,” she wrote.
The actress stressed that her silence should not be mistaken for acceptance.
“Silence was never acceptance. It was survival. Today, I’m choosing courage over fear. I may not be ready to tell the whole story, but I’m finally ready to stop pretending that everything was okay,” the statement added.
Although Isha did not elaborate on the circumstances behind her post, it has intensified public curiosity about the couple’s relationship.
Earlier Post Triggered Speculation
Days before issuing the statement, Isha had shared a collection of photographs and videos featuring herself with Badshah.
The caption read:
“Every storm is a lesson. Every prayer is hope,” accompanied by a heartbreak emoji and folded hands.
The post prompted widespread speculation among fans, many of whom interpreted it as a possible indication of difficulties in the couple’s marriage.
Private Wedding Came to Light in March
Badshah and Isha kept their wedding away from the public eye until photographs from the ceremony surfaced in March after they were shared by Isha’s mother, Poonam Rikhi, on Instagram.
The pictures showed Isha dressed in a traditional red Punjabi outfit with bridal accessories, while Badshah wore an ivory kurta for the intimate ceremony.
According to reports, the couple had been in a relationship for nearly four years before tying the knot.
Before marrying Isha, Badshah was married to Jasmine Masih. The former couple separated in 2020 and continue to co-parent their daughter, Jessemy Grace Masih Singh.
While Isha’s latest statement has fuelled fresh speculation, neither she nor Badshah has officially confirmed reports of a separation or divorce.
