Baramulla: In connection with the National Youth Festival 2025–26, the Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Baramulla, organised a vibrant and inspiring District-Level Viksit Bharat Cultural and Innovation Track Competition at the Indoor Stadium, Khawaja Bagh, Baramulla.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 150 youth, both schooling and non-schooling, in the 15–29 years age group, showcasing remarkable creativity, intellect, and cultural brilliance.
Competitions were held in Declamation, Story Writing, Painting, Folk Dance, Poetry Writing, and Innovation (Science Mela Exhibition)—each reflecting the spirit of Viksit Bharat and the boundless energy of India’s youth.
The programme was graced by Professor Dr. Tariq Ahmad Chalkoo, along with dignitaries from various departments, who lauded the young participants for their outstanding efforts.
They emphasised the importance of nurturing innovation, creative thinking, and cultural expression among youth to build a progressive and inclusive nation.
A panel of esteemed judges drawn from reputed institutions evaluated the performances and identified the best talents who will now represent District Baramulla at the Divisional Level Competition.
At the valedictory ceremony, top performers were felicitated with certificates and trophies in recognition of their exemplary contributions and spirited participation.
The event beautifully captured the department’s continued commitment to empowering young minds through platforms that seamlessly integrate art, culture, innovation, and national development.
