Srinagar: The 20th annual day of Ashutosh Army Goodwill School, Budkot was celebrated with great zeal and fervour at Ashutosh Army Goodwill School Budkot Handwara.
The annual day function was a cultural extravaganza which included bhangra dance, folk dance, Indian classical dance, group dance and rap songs. “Students displayed their talent and mesmerized the audience with their thrilling performances.
Over 400 people, including prominent personalities of the area, attended the function
On the occasion Piyush Sharma the elder brother of martyred Colonel Ashutosh Sharma remained present as chief guest.
During his address he remembered the sacrifice of Colonel Ashutosh Sharma towards the country. He impressed upon students to work diligently and passionately towards nation.
The function culminated with a prize distribution ceremony wherein the students were rewarded in different categories with certificates and prizes. Also, the teachers and students of the school were complemented for the exemplary conduct of the event.
