Girl’s higher secondary school, Handwara celebrated Children’s Day

Srinagar: The Girl’s Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Handwara celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm. Scores of girls participated in this grand event. The importance of children’s day had been shared with the students.

The ceremony of the day was handled by the teachers on Monday, and students were treated as special guests. They were welcomed by the principal and the senior staff members of the institution. 

Many cultural programmes, speech, gazals, etc were performed by the students, and their role during the current year in different sections of the school, family and society were highlighted by the teaching faculty during their speech.

 Those students who performed in different cultural activities during the current year were awarded.

The senior Physics lecturer Mohammad Iqbal Shah hosted the programme. All the teaching faculty spoke during the event and appreciated the students for making this institution a grand and multidimensional institution.

The principal Ghulam Hassan Mir in his address laid stress on moral education and character building. He also appreciated the teachers for conducting such inspiring events within the institution.
