Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey stunned fans early Monday morning with a heartfelt announcement on social media, revealing his decision to retire from acting at the age of 37. Sharing an emotional note on Instagram, Massey disclosed that his final two films will release in 2025, marking the end of his acting journey as he shifts focus to his personal life.

In his statement, Vikrant expressed gratitude for the support he has received over the years, saying, “The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal. I thank each and every one of you for your incredible support. But as I move forward, I realize it’s time to recalibrate and go back home—as a husband, father, and a son. And also as an actor.”

He continued, “So, coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time. Until time deems right. Last two movies and many years of memories. Thank you again, for everything and everything in between. Forever indebted.”

The announcement comes after Vikrant’s successful career spanning films and web series, including Dil Dhadakne Do, Death in the Gunj, Chhapaak, Haseen Dillruba, and Sector 36. His most recent film, The Sabarmati Report, explored the controversial burning of the Sabarmati Express in Godhra and grossed over ₹25 crore at the box office.

Vikrant’s 2023 release, 12th Fail, became a standout success after gaining critical acclaim on OTT platforms, with audiences praising his performance as one of his finest to date.

Among his final projects is the romantic drama Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyaan with Shanaya Kapoor, set for a 2025 release. While there were rumors about him starring in a biopic on spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, no official confirmation has been made.

Fans and industry colleagues have flooded social media with tributes and well-wishes for the actor. With his decision to step away from the limelight, Vikrant Massey leaves behind a legacy of versatile performances that have resonated deeply with audiences.
