“Vande Bharat is a Blessing”: Farooq Abdullah Hails High-Speed Train After Vaishno Devi Darshan

Srinagar: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah, after offering prayers at the revered shrine of Maa Vaishno Devi, returned to Srinagar aboard the Vande Bharat Express from Katra and praised the transformational impact of the high-speed train on the region’s tourism and connectivity.

Sharing his experience, Abdullah said, “I had a wonderful journey. Tourists are coming. This train is a great blessing. It will increase our tourism and business.” He highlighted how such infrastructure development opens new doors for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, enabling easier access to the rest of the country. “Now our people can go to any part of India.
