Mumbai: A technical snag at Mahim railway station brought a significant disruption to Mumbai’s Western Line suburban train services this morning, leaving thousands of commuters stranded during peak travel hours.
According to Western Railway officials, a point failure occurred at 10:33 AM at Mahim station, affecting train switching mechanisms and slowing down operations across the route. The glitch caused delays in the movement of several local trains, forcing many to remain halted between stations or run behind schedule.
