Tiwari Tears Into Uddhav: “MNS Alliance Will Kill Shiv Sena”

Kishore Tiwari’s explosive open letter warns of minority backlash, BJP advantage, and party implosion

Yavatmal: Former Shiv Sena spokesperson Kishore Tiwari has launched a blistering attack on Uddhav Thackeray, warning that any alliance with Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) would be nothing short of “political suicide” for the Shiv Sena (UBT).

In an open letter, Tiwari ripped apart the idea of a Sena–MNS pact, reminding Uddhav Thackeray that MNS has thrived on “hate politics” — weaponising linguistic chauvinism, regionalism, and communal polarisation to attack Hindi-speaking migrants, Muslims, and minorities.

“This alliance will turn your strongest voting base into sworn enemies. Hindi speakers, Dalits, and minorities across Mumbai, Thane, and nearly ten municipal corporations will desert Shiv Sena in disgust. The direct beneficiary will be the BJP,” Tiwari thundered.

Tiwari emphasised that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) and INDIA bloc’s backbone lies in minority and Hindi-speaking voters. “The truth is that Shiv Sena’s past victories in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections were only possible because of these communities. An MNS tie-up will drive them straight into the BJP’s arms,” he warned.

He also slammed the alliance as a betrayal of Shiv Sena’s cadre base:
“Such a deal will not only enrage minorities but also infuriate Shiv Sainiks themselves, who will never accept a compromise with a party built on hatred.”

Tiwari reminded Uddhav of MNS’ violent history: Beating up Gujarati, Rajasthani, and North Indian traders simply for not speaking Marathi. Threatening Muslims over Azaan on loudspeakers. Spreading fear and chaos in Maharashtra’s peaceful social fabric.

“Partnering with such a divisive force is like chopping your own legs with an axe. You will be digging Shiv Sena’s grave with your own hands,” Tiwari declared.

Tiwari, a firebrand activist for farmers, tribals, Dalits, and the marginalised for over 30 years, was earlier removed as Shiv Sena’s spokesperson for exposing the “anti-party” role of certain leaders. Now, he has once again taken an uncompromising stand, issuing a direct warning to Uddhav Thackeray against the MNS tie-up.

The ball is now in Uddhav’s court — heed the warning and save Shiv Sena’s core vote bank, or ignore it and risk political annihilation.
