The CRPF in association with District Hospital Handwara organised medical camp at Handwara

Srinagar: An awareness camp cum medical camp was organised by the 162 battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in collaboration with district hospital Handwara at Herpoora near Handwara. Commandant of the 162 Battalion CRPF Vinod Kumar inaugurated the medical camp. 

Commandant Vinod Kumar 162 Battalion CRPF, Municipal committee vice chairman Handwara Bashir Ahmad Khan, SDPO Handwara Syed Fariz, Assistant commandant Lal Chand, Medical Officer Dr Vishvendra Singh from 98 Battalion CRPF were present on the occasion.

In this camp, Dr Shabir, Dr Rameez addressed people to raise public awareness about day by day increasing diseases. People were also informed about how the risk of infection can be reduced by using a few simple precautions. 

In this medical camp almost 200 patients including children, men and women were present in this medical camp. They were also made aware of the herbal medicines and their benefits. Also, complementary medicines along with immuno boosters were distributed among the people. 

Talking to the media, Commandant 162 battalion CRPF Vinod Kumar said such type of medical camps are needed by the poor people and the CRPF will organise more such kinds of medical camps at Handwara.
