Srinagar: In its continued efforts to positively engage with the youth of Kupwara, Indian Army recently constructed and gifted a Cricket pitch and practice net to the youth of Kunan.
The net was constructed after the youth of Kunan requested Indian Army for assistance for the same as there is no proper cricket ground available in the village for the budding cricketers of Kunan to practice.
Indian Army has been relentlessly trying to engage with the younger generation of the twin villages of Kunan and Poshpora by providing them training in various life-skills as well providing them opportunities to hone and showcase their talents in various other fields including sports and stay away from the evil menace of drugs.
