Srinagar: A free medical camp was organised by 92 battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in association with Handwara police and sub-district hospital Chogal at Boys Higher secondary school Warpora Magam area of Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
The camp was inaugurated by the second in command of the battalion, Vijay Kumar, Additional SP Handwara Irshad Husain, sub-inspector Suhail Ahmad, doctors and other officers of the Battalion and local eminent personalities were present during the camp. Later on, SP Handwara Shema Nabi visited the medical camp and took stock of the arrangements and facilities which were kept available for the general public.
Dr M Sai Sindhu (SMO) Deputy Commandant, Dr MVS Kartik (SMO) Deputy Commandant, from 92 Battalion were also available for consultation. Besides the Team CRPF, some Doctors from sub-district hospital Chogal Dr Irshad and Dr Mehvish were also available for consultation.
During the camp besides free medical check-ups, consultation, medicines were distributed by CRPF, more than 350 patients have taken benefits from the said medical camp.
The second in command Vijay Kumar said that earlier 92 Battalion CRPF assured the local public that CRPF has always been helping the Kashmiri people and putting all out efforts for peace, prosperity and development of the society. He added that they will continue to conduct such a civic programme for the benefit of the local public in future.
The 92 battalion CRPF had assured that maximum people living on the outskirts of Handwara sub district will be facilitated with the medical camp and accordingly today it has been conducted at higher secondary school Magam. Vijay Kumar 2IC assured that 92 battalion CRPF under the command of Uday Divyanshu, Commandant 92 Bn, is always available for the best help to citizens of this district.
