Hyderabad: AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi on Wednesday raised serious questions over the recent terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, in which four militants from Pakistan allegedly killed 26 Hindu pilgrims.
Addressing a gathering, Owaisi asked, “Four terrorists from Pakistan took the lives of our 26 Hindu brothers in Pahalgam… Tell us how the terrorists reached Pahalgam. If you (Central govt) say you know about the presence of Bangladeshis in Bihar & Rohingyas, then how did four terrorists reach Pahalgam?”
Owaisi also slammed the Centre’s handling of national security during the ongoing electoral roll revision in Bihar. He pointed out the government’s focus on identifying Bangladeshis and Rohingyas, and questioned their inability to prevent such a deadly infiltration.
“You said we have to take revenge for Pahalgam. So keep Operation Sindoor going till all four terrorists are caught,” Owaisi urged, referring to the counter-terrorism response initiated after the incident.
