‘You Failed as a Student, Failed as a Leader’: Sudhanshu Trivedi’s Blistering Attack on Rahul Gandhi Over Student Outreach

BJP Leader Mounts Sharp Offensive Against Congress MP

A political war over student issues intensified on Wednesday after BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi launched a fierce attack on Rahul Gandhi, accusing the Congress leader of attempting to capitalise on the concerns of students at a sensitive time.

The BJP leader questioned Gandhi’s recent remarks and alleged that the Congress was trying to convert educational issues into a political battleground.

‘What Is the Urgency of These 72 Hours?’

Targeting Rahul Gandhi’s statements on students and examinations, Trivedi questioned the Congress leader’s intentions.

“Whatever Rahul Gandhi has tweeted, I think his nefarious and very obnoxious mindset has come out in the open. We can discuss the future after these 72 hours. What is the urgency of these 72 hours, because he’s using the word battleground. Battleground of what? A defeated leader, a defeated army general who has had his political party defeated by his series of misjudgements.”

He further alleged that Gandhi was attempting to exploit a sensitive issue for political gain.

“Now he wants to use this sensitive occasion, and he wants to exploit the feelings of students.”

‘You Failed as a Student, Failed as a Leader’

In one of his sharpest attacks, Trivedi directly questioned Gandhi’s political record and leadership credentials.

“We agree that you failed in your student days as well. You failed in the company you worked for. You failed as a leader.”

The BJP MP continued his criticism by claiming that Gandhi was projecting his own disappointments onto students preparing for success.

“I think that because you have been the embodiment of failure from the beginning of your career until now, you shouldn’t try to project that frustration onto the students who are preparing wholeheartedly for success today.”

Rajasthan Choice Comes Under BJP Scrutiny

Trivedi also questioned why Rahul Gandhi chose Rajasthan as the venue for his student-focused outreach programme.

“When the decision to re-examine has been made, and the court has also given its approval, then what are you demanding? Why have you chosen Rajasthan? Rajasthan is the state where nineteen papers were leaked during the Congress regime.”

The remarks added a new dimension to the ongoing political battle over examination-related issues.

Ashok Gehlot Dragged Into Debate

The BJP leader also linked the controversy to internal Congress politics, citing recent comments made by former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.

“A few days ago, Ashok Gehlot also made a statement that he wanted to be the national president, but was not allowed to be. So, is that the case? The internal politics of the Congress in Rajasthan is also a reason why you’re trying to play with the sentiments of the students.”

Political Battle Over Students Heats Up

The exchange marks the latest chapter in the escalating BJP-Congress confrontation over education, examinations and youth-related issues.
