MNS Chief Raj Thackeray’s meeting with Union Minister Amit Shah in Delhi today has sparked anticipation regarding the inclusion of MNS in the Mahayuti alliance. Responding to this development, Minister Chhagan Bhujbal shared his insights during a conversation with reporters in Nashik.
Expressing his views, Bhujbal stated that if Raj Thackeray opts to join the grand coalition, it would be a moment of joy. He emphasized that the India Aghadi comprises numerous parties, and Thackeray’s inclusion would bolster the strength of the alliance, particularly beneficial for forthcoming assembly and municipality elections. Bhujbal highlighted the upcoming election in Vidarbha and underscored the significance of providing ample space for effective collaboration.
Regarding the allocation of seats, especially in the Nashik Lok Sabha constituency, Bhujbal noted that clarity on the matter is yet to emerge within Mahayuti. With the Nashik election scheduled for May 20 and five phases of elections ahead, Bhujbal emphasized the gradual process of seat allocation. He hinted at the importance of adhering to directives from higher authorities, particularly emphasizing Prime Minister Modi’s potential role in decision-making.
Addressing queries about Srinivas Pawar’s divergence from Ajit Pawar’s decisions, Bhujbal refrained from direct commentary, urging for restraint in language usage despite political differences. Drawing parallels with familial disputes within other political dynasties, Bhujbal highlighted the significance of maintaining familial bonds even amidst political disagreements.
Responding to comparisons between Shiv Sena and BJP’s ideologies, Bhujbal highlighted the alignment of Hindutva ideologies between the two parties. He emphasized that while the alliance with BJP remains distinct, his party upholds the principles of Shahu-Phule-Ambedkar, signaling a commitment to a specific ideological framework.
As Maharashtra’s political landscape continues to evolve, Raj Thackeray’s potential inclusion in Mahayuti adds a new dimension to the electoral dynamics, setting the stage for intriguing developments in the upcoming elections.
