Srinagar: One person was killed and another person was injured after a moving tractor they were riding on rolled down in Hatmulla area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An official informed the media that a tractor rolled down at Wogbal in Hatmulla this afternoon, resulting in on the spot death of one person and causing injuries to another person.
The official said the deceased person has been identified as Mamdin Jinder, 50, son of Ali Mohammad Jinder, resident of Wogbal Kupwara and the injured person was (Driver) Bahudin Shah, 40, of Karihama Kupwara.
The injured person was removed to SDH Kupwara for treatment, he further said.
Meanwhile a police official confirming the incident said that a case is being registered in this regard for due investigations.
