PM Modi to Chair; Focus on Best Practices, Operation Sindoor, Caste Census, and Key Upcoming Events
New Delhi: In a major brainstorming session on good governance and policy innovation, Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers from 20 NDA-ruled states will gather in the national capital on Sunday for a day-long conclave. The meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will feature the participation of BJP National President J.P. Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
The conclave, coordinated by the BJP’s Good Governance Department, will focus on sharing best practices among NDA states. Each Chief Minister will make presentations on flagship initiatives undertaken in their respective states to promote efficiency, transparency, and public welfare.
Two significant resolutions are expected to be passed during the meeting. The first will laud the success of Operation Sindoor and commend the Indian defence forces and Prime Minister Modi for the mission’s achievements. The second will welcome the Central Government’s decision to conduct caste-based enumeration during the upcoming Census, a move seen as a major step towards inclusive policymaking.
The conclave will also discuss forthcoming national events, including the first anniversary of the NDA government’s current term, the 10th International Yoga Day celebrations, and the 50th Loktantra Hatya Diwas—marking five decades since the imposition of the Emergency in 1975.
The event is being helmed by Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, who heads the BJP Good Governance Department.
