The political landscape in Maharashtra is embroiled in controversy as Manoj Jarange Patil, the chief of Maratha reservation, has leveled serious allegations against Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Patil claimed that there was a conspiracy orchestrated by Fadnavis to harm him, stating, “Sagar is coming to the bungalow.” This accusation has sparked a rift within the Maratha movement.

In response to Patil’s claims, Ajay Maharaj Baraskar and Sangita Wankhede have come forward with serious counter-allegations against him. Wankhede, in particular, has demanded a Special Investigation Team (SIT) inquiry into Patil’s actions, implicating Nationalist Congress Party leader Sharad Pawar and MLA Rohit Pawar in her statement.

Accusing Patil of misleading and cheating the Maratha community regarding reservation issues, Wankhede alleged that his agitation was scripted and aimed at furthering personal political ambitions. She claimed that funds were being collected from villages under false pretenses, leading to unrest within the community.

Meanwhile, MLA Pravin Darekar has accused Sharad Pawar of being the mastermind behind Patil’s agitation, alleging that the conspiracy was hatched at Rajesh Tope’s factory during the semi-decision session of the legislature.

The unfolding drama has intensified political tensions in Maharashtra, with various factions within the Maratha movement trading accusations and demanding investigations into each other’s actions.
