Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Friday addressed calls for a Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe into the controversial drugs party case involving Pranjal Khewalkar. Speaking on the matter, Fadnavis stated that as of now, no formal demand for an SIT investigation has been brought to his notice.
He added, “The police have informed the court that during the ongoing investigation, they have come across videos containing obscene content involving several women. This aspect requires further scrutiny.”
The Chief Minister indicated that a policy-level decision will soon be taken regarding the next steps. “We will decide what action needs to be taken and how to proceed further in this matter,” Fadnavis said.
