Maharashtra, AVEVA Ink MoU to Drive Digital Transformation Under Vision 2030

Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday announced a landmark partnership between the Government of Maharashtra and AVEVA Group, a global leader in industrial software, to spearhead the state’s digital transformation journey.

The MoU, signed in Mumbai in the presence of AVEVA’s Chief Commercial Officer Ms. Sue Quense and her team, will see the launch of the Connected Maharashtra Initiative – a key pillar of the state’s Vision 2030.

According to Fadnavis, the collaboration aims to:
• Accelerate digital transformation in water, energy and infrastructure sectors
• Develop a unified digital platform connecting government departments and industries
• Deliver measurable ROI and efficiency gains through real-time analytics and predictive maintenance
• Strengthen collaboration with academia, system integrators and enterprises
• Bolster Maharashtra’s role in achieving India’s $1 trillion GSDP target

Calling it a cornerstone project, the Chief Minister said the initiative will reinforce the government’s resolve towards creating a “Viksit Maharashtra”.
