LIC Trophy 2025: Inter-State T20 Tournament for Physically Challenged Cricketers in Mumbai from Nov 5–7

Mumbai: The All India Cricket Association for the Physically Challenged (AICAPC) will host the LIC Trophy 2025, a national-level T20 cricket tournament for players with 40% or more orthopedic disability, from 5 to 7 November 2025 in Mumbai.

Matches will be played at Police Gymkhana, Islam Gymkhana and Hindu Gymkhana at Marine Lines, with semi-finals and the final scheduled on November 7.

A total of 16 state teams will compete in this prestigious event, including squads from Jammu & Kashmir, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Saurashtra, Baroda, Maharashtra, Mumbai, Karnataka, Kerala, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, Vidarbha, Jharkhand, and West Bengal.

The event has been supported by the Deputy Director of Sports (Maharashtra) and GT Hospital, Public Health Department, Maharashtra. LIC is the title sponsor, while CS Infocomm, New India Assurance, and Mahagenco are co-sponsors.

Founded in 1988 under the leadership of former India captain and Padma Shri Ajit Wadekar, AICAPC today has 28 affiliated state units and organizes national and international championships for physically challenged cricketers.
In 2019, the association hosted the World Cup in England, where Team India emerged champions. Earlier, in 2018, it conducted the India–Afghanistan bilateral series.
