Srinagar: Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS) – Kupwara (JSS-Kupwara) on Tuesday held an awareness program in order to spread knowledge about using Sanitary Pads by visiting door to door in areas of Kunan Poshpora in Kupwara.
A group of 50 beneficiaries and field officers of JSS-Kupwara carried out the activity.
These beneficiaries interacted with the adolescent girls and young women of Kunan-Poshpora and conveyed the information about how harmful effects are there by using the traditional cloth and also explained the benefits of using the sanitary pads of the modern era which are very hygienic.
