Srinagar: The JKSTEW Society and Allied Association delegation under the leadership of Vijay Sharma retired DC state taxes called on Financial Commissioner health Atal Dulloo at the New Secretariat here in Jammu this afternoon along with Kokoroo Sahib retired deputy director Horticulture and president of a unit of Kashmiri Pandits Sabha (KPS) representing Allied Association, Sushil Singh Charak Chairman of Nations Development Association (NDA) to convey the grievances and concerns of the public regarding implementation of the health insurance scheme.
Kokoroo stated that the Health Insurance scheme launched by central government under Prime Ministership of Narendra Modi and declared open by Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha benefit JKITES 25 lakh families irrespective of family strength covering 5 lakh per family and thereby covering 1.25 cr residents of JKUT. Yet difficulties are cropping up in the wake of Registration by concerned Common Service Centers (CSC) opened for the purpose are enormous and doesn’t give out put because of old data fed in the website by Agencies responsible for it.
Sharma recalled Financial Commissioner health communication where under it was stated that Aadhar Card of a family member will be sufficient evidence for treatment in the Hospitals empaneled under the scheme. He further added that Agencies can pick up data of Employees/Pensioners from respective departments/Treasuries from where pensioners obtained their salaries/Pensions.
In other cases PPO/Any Document issued by the Government department could form the basis for Registration for Golden card if the Government is indeed serious in implementing the scheme in letter and spirit. Atal Dulloo gave patient hearing to the delegation and assured all possible measures which may be needed in this regard. Sushil Singh Charak Chairman of NDA expressed his gratitude of Atal Dulloo for giving them patient hearing & assurance to the important concerns of JKUT.
