Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan has said that India’s performance against Corona has outperformed other big countries of the world. He said that the recovery rate in the country has reached at 76.30. The Health Minister inaugurated two medical colleges and three super specialty centers in Rajasthan through video conference today.
AIR Jaipur correspondent reports that Five projects and health facilities of the Health Education Department with a cost of Rupees 828 crores have been inaugurated. These include Medical College buildings in Bharatpur and Bhilwara and super-specialty centers in Bikaner, Udaipur, and Kota. The Health Minister praised Rajasthan’s efforts to deal with COVID-19. He also said that more attention is needed in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Alwar, Kota and Bikaner.
On this occasion, the state Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the government has decided to develop model CHC in all the blocks of the state, so that the load on the district hospitals may be reduced. The Chief Minister said that the fatality rate of corona is lower in Rajasthan as compared to other states while the recovery rate is higher.
